The advanced AA Digital Power batteries, which have begun shipping this past holiday season, have been proven in internal Panasonic testing to last longer and deliver ultimate performance when compared to current digital alkaline batteries. This upgrade will make Digital Power the longest lasting Panasonic alkaline battery available. While at 2007 CES in Las Vegas, Panasonic will present the product at its booth, #9405 in the Central Hall.

The new Digital Power batteries showed an increase of eight percent in the internal testing performance index, when matched against Panasonic's current Digital Power battery. Enhancements were made to both the anode and electrolyte. The improved Digital Power battery was especially designed to provide reliable and dependable power to moderate and high draining devices, such as toys, MP3 players and CD players. These batteries are currently available nationally at a suggested retail price of $3.49 per 4-pack.
