BandTel and Zultys Expand Partnership

With a Cost Savings and Revenue-Enhancing Promotion, the IP Telecommunications Leaders Team to Provide More Flexibility and Quality With a Total SIP Trunking VoIP Solution

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. and SUNNYVALE, Calif., Jan. 16, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- BandTel, a leading worldwide provider of SIP Trunking services, today announced it is reinforcing its partnership with Zultys Technologies, the leading manufacturer of communications equipment for businesses and enterprises.

The alliance affirms Zultys' high performance IP PBX media exchange systems, the MX30 and MX250, are fully compatible with BandTel's fault-tolerant, scalable SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) Trunking architecture. The strategic partnership permits Zultys' worldwide channel partners to expand VoIP capabilities and provide consumers with fail-safe, cost-effective and flexible VoIP solutions. BandTel's enterprise and contact center customers will have the opportunity to take advantage of Zultys' high quality voice systems, the MX30 and MX250.

"With its award-winning IP PBX media exchange systems, Zultys Technologies is known for manufacturing high quality VoIP communications products," said Chris Dunk, CEO of BandTel. "By merging our fail-safe architecture and high Quality of Service (QoS) with Zultys' powerful IP communications systems, we can provide customers with a cost-saving solution and enhance our VAR's service offerings while simultaneously increasing their profit margins. BandTel is thrilled to have this mutually beneficial partnership with Zultys."

"BandTel, in their continuous pursuit to cost-effectively bring superior service to VARs and customers, has made them the natural match for Zultys' advanced products," said Avi Weinrib, CEO of Zultys Technologies. "This unique partnership allows us to combine our strengths to form an economical, flexible and reliable solution for the VoIP market today."

To promote the alliance, BandTel will give customers a month of free minutes, if they purchase a Zultys MX system and sign a New Customer Agreement before June 30, 2007. BandTel also offers a rewarding, two-tiered VAR commission program. The first option allows VARs to receive 15% of each customer's total usage cost on a monthly basis. The second option allows resellers to receive 10% of their customer's total usage cost on a monthly basis, plus a cash bonus equal to the customer's third month billing. In addition, VARs get free dealer demo accounts.

Zultys' MX30 and MX250 are powerful systems that enable multimedia communications and simplify the VoIP network deployment. These easy to install, use, and maintain systems are designed specifically to connect Internet Telephony service providers (ITSPs) using SIP. By partnering with BandTel, Zultys enables customers to realize the full benefits of VoIP and superior rates offered while taking advantage of increased sales opportunities and margins. VARs can guarantee their customers continual service with BandTel's SIP Softswitch technology, which provides service from any of BandTel's global switching centers at any given time. BandTel's network offers enhanced features such as its N-Plus(tm) architecture, designed to resolve throughput and redundancy problems on high-volume calling networks and includes a clustering system that optimizes bandwidth by eliminating the need for numerous IP addresses to numerous SIP proxies. Because Zultys' PBX systems are the first fully integrated IP PBX systems based on open standards, they seamlessly interoperate with BandTel's VoIP termination services.
