Lithuanian TEO Deploys Allot NetEnforcer to Deliver International Telecom Service Packages With Minimal Cost and Effort

Allot NetEnforcer Helps TEO Prioritize Applications and Consistently Deliver High Quality of Service Via International Peering Links

MINNEAPOLIS, March 12, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Allot Communications (Nasdaq:ALLT), a leader in IP service optimization solutions based on deep packet inspection (DPI), today announced that TEO LT, AB, Lithuania's leading Internet service provider, has implemented the Allot NetEnforcer AC-1010 broadband management device to optimize the delivery of customized international telecommunications service packages to its rapidly growing base of subscribers.

As the leader in the burgeoning Lithuanian telecommunications service provider market, TEO sought to further improve international access for customers. During the first stages of broadband management deployment, TEO implemented carrier-grade NetEnforcer devices from Allot Communications to cost-effectively create an international access solution. With the NetEnforcers in place, TEO achieves the per-application, per-subscriber visibility needed to efficiently and profitably manage and utilize its acquired bandwidth to avoid further investment in additional bandwidth.

The NetEnforcer quality of service (QoS) enforcement capabilities help TEO prioritize applications running over the network and avoid bandwidth congestion, thereby greatly improving network performance. As a result, the company witnessed an immediate surge in customer satisfaction and is able to continue to recruit a vast number of subscribers and remain confident in its offering.

Using the NetEnforcer, TEO is able to allocate sufficient bandwidth for applications it categorized as "Premium," "Best Effort" and "Fall Back." The company can now create and deliver service packages based on the amount of bandwidth the subscriber was issued on a per-application basis. They also introduced new service packages, such as the Bazinis which grants subscribers various levels of international access for different types of applications.

"Installing the NetEnforcer enabled us to make an educated investment in our international access infrastructure. We are able to continue to save money in the long run by utilizing our acquired bandwidth intelligently," said Darius Didzgalvis, chief sales officer and deputy general manager, TEO LT, AB. "Our next move is to increase our market share through tiered service level agreements and bandwidth guarantees. NetEnforcer lets us do this without compromising customer satisfaction."

"Allot NetEnforcer enables TEO to prioritize applications and control their service delivery in line with policies they can set and enforce centrally. This enables them to constantly offer innovative services and continue to pilot this extremely dynamic market," said Rami Hadar, president and CEO, Allot Communications.
