HS3 Technologies Introduces Proprietary Remote Monitoring Platform, OPIE

DENVER, March 13, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- HS3 Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:HSTH), a world-wide provider of innovative security solutions, is pleased to announce the introduction of its proprietary remote access monitoring platform, codenamed OPIE, (Outside Perimeter Investigative Equipment).

OPIE has been in development for the last year and is currently beginning its final stage of testing. OPIE is a combination of cutting edge video transmission and storage technologies integrated into a completely mobile platform. OPIE integrates remote video monitoring, motion detection sensors, proprietary wireless Mesh networking, satellite and cellular connectivity into a self contained, self sufficient, mobile platform. The units' unique design allows for the addition of solar panels and deep cycle batteries, allowing OPIE to function independently of external AC power restrictions.

"OPIE was designed to meet the requirements for temporary deployment in areas that need live visual monitoring," stated Mark Lana, HS3 Technologies' President. "The design is flexible enough to allow for permanent installation where conventional CCTV and security patrols are not feasible. OPIE will impact security for a wide variety of markets whose options had required huge build-outs of power and data infrastructure. Remote sites with limited access across the USA in both urban and rural areas will now have access to the security provided through portable video recording and remote monitoring protection that OPIE conveniently and securely provides."

Mounted on a heavy duty trailer, OPIE can be deployed quickly and easily with drive in and set up capabilities, making it a perfect match to monitor remote areas such as oil wells, water reservoir sites, construction sites, mining operations, power stations, and other sites which lack power, phone or internet connectivity. Multiple cameras are mounted on a retractable mast, allowing for 360 degree coverage by using a remote controlled PTZ (pan, tilt and zoom) camera which allows for close-up and wide angle viewing. OPIE has the ability to connect to the internet through multiple communication channels; satellite, WIFI, long range radio, hardwire, and cellular. The final choice depends on the service that is available at the site.
