CanAm Uranium's Head of Field Operations is Interviewed on StockHouse


LAS VEGAS, April 18, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- CanAm Uranium Corp. ("CanAm" or the "Company") (OTCBB:CAUI) is pleased to announce Dr. Michael Hitch, CanAm's Head of Field Operations, was interviewed by Pat Beechinor, producer and host of StockHouse's Executive Broadcast.

During the conversation, Hitch announced that drilling in Bancroft is advancing rapidly, with three holes already completed. He also stated that good lengths of uranite mineralization have been found. "We're now drilling on the Amalgamated Rare Earth No. 2 property and look to have assay results by the end of April," Dr. Hitch said. Uranite (UO2) is a brown to black mineral, commonly known as "pitchblende," forms the chief uranium ore used in the manufacture of nuclear fuels.
