Entropic Communications Adds VP of Corporate Marketing and Communications to Management Team


SAN DIEGO, May 14, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Entropic Communications, a leader in home networking for digital entertainment, today announced that global corporate brand strategist Susan Huberman has joined the company in the newly created position of vice president of corporate marketing and communications. Susan will lead the development of the company's brand positioning and integrated communications strategy as Entropic continues to build on its leadership position in connected home entertainment.

Susan has nearly 20 years experience in strategic marketing management for private and public companies in consumer electronics, high tech and consumer packaged goods. Before joining Entropic, she was VP of corporate marketing at Cymer, Inc., where she led corporate branding and strategic marketing.

Susan was founder and chief marketing officer of MOD Consulting, a strategic marketing firm serving the marketing needs of growing companies. Prior to MOD, Susan was chief marketing officer for Iomega Corporation where she was responsible for global communications, brand management, customer support and emerging technologies. She was VP of Marketing at Munchkin, Inc., has held a variety of senior marketing positions at Hewlett Packard, and began her career in consumer packaged goods at Alberto Culver. Susan was also a management consultant in Accenture's consumer products practice.

She is a contributing author in the business book series Inside the Minds, Leadership in Marketing and was nominated for the Athena Pinnacle Award recognizing women leaders in technology.

Susan has a M.B.A. from The Wharton School in Strategic Planning and Marketing Management, and her B.S. in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University.
