Lindora Partners With Walkstyles' WeWhoWalk Walking Campaign

Public Encouraged to Sign Up for Free Web Membership to Join Tour and Embark On Free Weight Control Program

COSTA MESA, Calif., May 15, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Lindora Medical Clinics, one of the nation's foremost medically-supervised weight control programs, has embarked on a unique partnership to sponsor a new series of walks being held across the nation to promote walking as a way of life. The company has teamed up with WalkStyles, Inc. to serve as a sponsor of the "WeWhoWalk(tm) Tour," which will feature 50 events in America's 50 capital cities (to sign up for free WalkStyles(tm) web membership, visit www.walkstyles.com). A special benefit of the campaign will be a free 10-week, online weight control program that is open to both event participants and the WalkStyles' members with a goal of helping participants lose 10 percent of their body weight as well as make major improvements in overall health and wellness. All members can review a schedule of events or sign up for the free weight loss program, too.

The weight loss program being offered by Lindora for this special promotion includes a step-by-step online program with daily plans for tracking food intake and exercise, a plan for healthy food choices, serving sizes, and sample meal plans. In addition, the program offers motivational tips and strategies, an online weight tracker, daily emails and tips for encouragement and a Body Mass Index calculator.

According to Lindora President Cynthia Stamper Graff, the partnership was a "natural" as walking has been one of the cornerstones of the Lindora program throughout its 36-year history.

"Walking is an ideal form of exercise because it is low impact and can be performed by nearly anyone, anywhere and anytime," said Graff. "We are delighted to be joining forces with WalkStyles(tm) and sponsoring the WeWhoWalk(tm) Tour so that we can make great strides in the fight against obesity."
