TAIPEI, Taiwan, Oct. 22, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Beceem Communications, a leading provider of terminal chipsets for Mobile WiMAX, today announced that Quanta Computer, Inc., a leading ODM for Notebooks and PC peripherals, has selected Beceem's BCS200 terminal chipset to develop products for the mobile computing market. Quanta and Beceem are collaborating on WiMAX products for many Mobile WiMAX networks being deployed by operators that are working with Beceem's infrastructure OEM partners.
