GoLeft.tv Announces First Online Music Competition, 'Make Music For Me' -- $6,000 in Prizes

PENSACOLA, Fla., Oct. 24, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- GoLeft.tv, America's new progressive online video news source, announces the GoLeft TV Make Music For Me Online Contest to air on www.goleft.tv in the fall of 2007 with winners to be announced in early 2008.

Send in your music videos. It can be anything from a fully produced music video, or just you and your band playing in front of a web cam. GoLeft TV is judging the music, not the video, so don't let that hold you back from this music contest.

The festival will showcase music on issues such as politics, media consolidation, foreign policy, the environment, civil liberties, human rights, immigration, workers' rights, corporate power, health care, education, economics, religion, voting systems and others. But don't let this limit you! GoLeft TV is looking for any original content, so no covers, please.

The finalists will be selected by a panel of GoLeft TV personalities and producers including Mike Papantonio, Lea Morris Turtle, Farron Cousins, Pete Kaufman and Michael Lynch. The winner of the contest will be chosen by GoLeft TV viewers who will be able to vote online at www.goleft.tv.

First place prize is $4,000, second place will walk away with $1,500 and third place will receive $500. For a full list of rules and instructions for submission please go to www.GoLeft.tv/Make_Music_for_Me_Rules.asp
