ZURICH, Switzerland, Nov. 6, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Qnective Inc. (OTCBB:QNTV), through its Qporter subsidiary, has launched a beta version of the Qporter messenger service in German speaking Europe, starting with a limited launch last month in Switzerland.

Qporter's software communication tool combines the benefits of instant messaging with "push to talk" capability as well as VoIP while enabling the exchange of multimedia files, voice clips, pictures and Giganticons. Qporter enables the user to communicate at home from a desktop computer and on the road via a cell phone. Unlike SMS and MMS, the Qporter service is free of charge and the software is available to download from the company's website (www.qporter.com). Sending messages, photos and videos is free among Qporter users. The only costs incurred are service provider connection and data transfer fees. For more information, please visit: www.qporter.com

Qnective indicated more than 13,000 subscribers have signed up for the service within the period of time since its launch.

"The special features of Qporter facilitate linkages between fun-oriented youth target groups and businesses. In addition to the social benefits that can be delivered to regular customers, Qporter offers several opportunities to business clients such as the ability to reach targeted users with distinctive advertising messages and products through the ultimate direct response mechanism," said Oswald Ortiz, Qnective's CEO. "We are pleased with customer reaction to date and look forward to introducing Qporter to a wider audience."

Mr. Ortiz concluded, "We intend to use the findings from our beta testing to enhance the Qporter application for its adaptability by customers worldwide. We anticipate coming to market with additional releases of Qporter in the first quarter of 2008; these releases will incorporate features tailored to the specific needs of other markets and regions. Further, Qporter will offer b2b applications based on Qporter services to better serve the needs of business clients. Our experience to date with the business-to-consumer market combined with knowledge gained through our previously-announced acquisition of MMH positions Qnective to offer unique and powerful solutions for the business-to-business user."
