RTN Announces Agreement With Citadel Communications, Adding 3 New Stations

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., April 2, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Retro Television Network (RTN) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Citadel Communications Company to launch RTN programming in three markets. The new affiliates will air on the digital streams of WOI-TV (Des Moines-Ames, IA), KLKN-TV (Lincoln, NE) and WHBF-TV (Davenport, IA/Rock Island-Moline, IL).

"We look forward to the launch of RTN in three of our markets. Viewers will benefit from RTN's classic program line-up, advertisers will benefit from RTN's family-friendly program environment and our stations will benefit from RTN's turnkey secondary digital channel solution," said Ray Cole, President and COO of Citadel Communications Company. "Like the programming on RTN, it's a 'classic' win-win."

"Today we are announcing a three-market deal for RTN with Citadel Communications to carry our 'Prime Time All the Time' lineup," said Mark Dvornik, Executive Vice President of RTN. "Citadel's strong management team in each of their markets makes them an ideal network affiliate."

RTN is the first completely-customizable, national television network to provide a 24/7 digital feed of hit shows to each of its affiliates. The network's unique design allows each affiliate to remain in complete control while RTN runs the local and national master control from its central hub. RTN also offers customizable news and weather for each market, hosted by network-provided talent. RTN is owned and distributed by Equity Media Holdings Corporation (Nasdaq:EMDA).
