Video Stream Debuts 64 Channel IP Streaming Server

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Aug. 21, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aventura Holdings, Inc.'s (OTCBB:AVNT) wholly owned subsidiary Video Stream, Inc. concluded its phase one research and development activities and unveils its IP streaming server capable of transmitting multiple channels of closed circuit television (CCTV) over one network feed.

A Video Stream IP Streaming Server concentrates analog video feeds from multiple cameras at remote locations and converts the video into a single IP stream.

Video Stream's proprietary solution is a substantial technological breakthrough and replaces up to 64 cable runs with a single Ethernet connection using the latest H.264 compression technology. For security purposes Video Stream's Server can encrypt and/or mask the video information prior to transmission which may be viewed and stored at a central office or at any facility equipped with adequate bandwidth and storage capacity.

The Video Stream remote management interface can configure global and channel parameters such as brightness, contrast, frame rates, IP configurations and can optionally store those settings.

Video Stream also offers a Network Video Recorder (NVR) module that records audio and video to many types of storage. The NVR is configured, as is the Streaming Server, from a shared relational database that may be located locally or remotely. Most important, the Video Stream IP Streaming Server is scalable and designed to work in enterprise environments. Gerald Sliz, President and Chief Technology Officer of Video Stream, is "extremely excited at the opportunity to provide a high density single box solution at a competitive price per channel." Craig Waltzer, Chief Executive Officer of Aventura, says, "We are real proud of Video Stream's accomplishments. We have a scalable enterprise solution to convert existing analog multi-camera security systems into the IP world."

The Video Stream IP Streaming Server will target enterprise security system deployments in the banking, casino, education, government, healthcare, law enforcement, manufacturing, retail, traffic monitoring and transportation sectors. Purchase orders are being accepted with delivery beginning October 1, 2008.
