DealerTrack Selected as Dealer Management Solution (DMS) Provider to Tesla Motors


LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., Oct. 15, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Arkona Inc., a subsidiary of DealerTrack Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:TRAK), a leading provider of on-demand software and data solutions for the U.S. automotive retail industry, today announced that it has been chosen as the DMS provider to Tesla Motors, Inc.

Tesla Motors makes a high-performance, zero-emissions, all-electric sports car, the Roadster. The Roadster is unique in providing superior car performance and extraordinary efficiency while conforming to all U.S. and European safety, environmental and durability standards. The San Carlos, Calif.-based company sells vehicles directly to consumers and operates two retail showrooms in California.
