Broström AB (publ) applies for delisting and convenes extraordinary general
meeting 

At the request of Maersk Product Tankers AB (”Maersk Product Tankers”), the
board of Broström AB (publ) (“Broström”) has resolved to apply for delisting of
the company's B-shares that are listed on Nasdaq OMX Stockholm. At the request
of Maersk Product Tankers, the board of Broström has also announced a notice to
convene an extraordinary general meeting to be held on 16 February 2009 for the
purposes of electing a new board consisting of representatives of Maersk Product
Tankers AB.

The last day of trading in the company's B-shares on Nasdaq OMX Stockholm will
be announced as soon as the company has received confirmation from Nasdaq OMX
Stockholm.
Following completion of Maersk Product Tankers' public offer to the shareholders
of Broström, Maersk Product Tankers AB controls approximately 97.3% of the
shares and approximately 98.3% of the votes in Broström. Maersk Product Tankers
has also announced its intention to request a squeeze-out of the Broström shares
that are not held by Maersk Product Tankers AB.
