BOSTON, Feb. 6, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Notice is hereby given that Gilman and Pastor, LLP and the Law Office of Vincent T. Gresham filed a lawsuit on February 6, 2009 in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts seeking class action status on behalf of purchasers of limited partnership interests in Tremont Market Neutral Fund, L.P. (originally named American Masters Market Neutral Fund, L.P.) and Tremont Market Neutral Fund II, L.P. In particular the PPM failed to disclose that with respect to the funds' investments relating to Bernard Madoff, the extensive initial and ongoing due diligence procedures detailed in the PPM were not followed. The Complaint asserts federal securities claims for violations of Section 10(b) of the Exchange Act and Rule 10b-5, violations of Section 20(a) of the Exchange Act, and common law claims.
