TUSTIN, Calif., April 16, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ENTECH Products Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:INCL) today announced that the Company is in the process of finalizing negotiations with a European-based heavy equipment company to supply an initial order of 25 "Entech" brand Hydrogen Generator units to be used as part of a emission reduction testing program.
According to ENTECH President Robert J. Thompson, "A representative of the heavy equipment company visited ENTECH Products Group this week in California and after seeing a demonstration of our technology, we received a verbal commitment for the purchase of 25 of the 'Entech' units. The terms of a final purchase order should be finalized within the next few weeks and delivery should be completed by mid-2009."
Mr. Thompson stated, "The European Union has started to implement air pollution regulations that demand stringent emission reductions that are comparable to those of the US EPA and California's Air Resources Board. This initial test program is potentially part of a much larger requirement for the international heavy equipment off-road market. The 'Entech' Hydrogen Generators can be installed on many of the diesel and gasoline fired engines used in the heavy equipment industry, both domestic and international, and when operated properly these products have the potential to significantly reduce emissions and improve the fuel efficiency while prolonging the life of the engine."
Mr. Thompson further commented, "Our customer has indicated that upon satisfactory installation and testing of these initial 'Entech' Hydrogen Generators, they will probably move forward with the retrofit of a large portion of their inventory to become one of the first heavy equipment companies to comply with the EU's new diesel engine emissions reductions requirements. This heavy equipment company has multiple locations across Europe, all of which will ultimately be required to comply with the new EU emissions reduction mandate and ENTECH Products Group will strive to assist with the delivery and installation of 'Entech' products to comply with all the necessary requirements."
