Swine Flu Postpones China Bankers Seminar At Edcomm Banker's Academy


NEW YORK, May 7, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The 19-member delegation from leading banks throughout China, expected to travel to Edcomm Banker's Academy for a three-day training session this month, has postponed their visit due to concerns with the recent outbreak of swine flu. The group, consisting of deputy general managers and department directors from different banks throughout China, has opted to reschedule Edcomm Banker's Academy's customer service program for a future date.

Due to the spread of swine flu throughout the U.S., the delegation was advised by Chinese Regulatory Officials not to travel to New York City to partake in the three-day session, scheduled for May 10 -12. Edcomm Banker's Academy had to postpone the bankers' visits to several of Edcomm Banker's Academy's clients located in the New York City area, including Hudson Valley Bank, The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Federal Home Loan Bank of New York and Capital One.
