Sector 10, Inc. Joins the National Institute for Urban Search and Rescue

(OTCBB:SECI) (Frankfurt:4SR) announces today that the Company has joined the National Institute for Urban Search and Rescue (NIUSR) as part of its continuing strategy of leadership in Crisis, Emergency and Risk Management (CERM). NIUSR is the premier leadership organization in the field of new technologies for emergency applications and is dedicated to improving disaster readiness and response through public awareness, collaboration, research and engineering. Sector 10's Mobile Response Unit (MRU) will be "deployed" at the NIUSR Annual Meeting "Boot Camp for Leaders", which will be held in Santa Barbara at the El Capitan Canyon Resort October 20-24, 2009. This year's event will be the 33rd anniversary of NIUSR and will feature thought and vision leaders from firefighters, emergency responders, industry, academia and the military.
