/ CORRECTION - EBX: 63X Master Fund Announces the Acquisition of Approximately 10.2% of Ventana Gold Corp.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL--(Marketwire - July 20, 2009) - 63X Master Fund ("63X"), of Unlgand House, Grand Cayman, KY1-1104, Cayman Islands, wishes to clarify the press release issued earlier today with the headline "EBX: 63X Master Fund Announces the Acquisition of Approximately 10.2% of Ventana Gold Corp." The release stated that, pursuant to National Instrument 62-103, it acquired ownership and control of 8,210,900 common shares of Ventana Gold Corp. ("Ventana") "in a private purchase from Ventana from common shares in treasury." The purchase by 63X of common shares of Ventana was in fact a purchase made through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange. The common shares purchased by 63X represent in aggregate approximately 10.2% of the 86,600,131 issued and outstanding common shares of Ventana reported by the Toronto Stock Exchange and Bloomberg.

Prior to the share acquisition, 63X did not own any common shares of Ventana; accordingly, as a result of this acquisition of common shares from Ventana, 63X now exercises ownership and control over a total of 8,210,900 common shares of Ventana, representing approximately 10.2% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Ventana as noted above. 63X paid cash consideration of C$4.0128 per share of Ventana, for aggregate consideration of approximately C$32,948,699.

The share acquisition by 63X was made for investment purposes only. 63X may, in the future, acquire ownership and control over additional securities of Ventana for investment purposes, but has no current intention to do so.

63X is not currently a party to any agreement in respect of the acquisition, holding, disposition or voting of any securities of Ventana. 63X does not own or control any securities of Ventana with, nor is 63X a joint actor with, another entity.
