International Book Fair Features New Autobiographical Book -- Know More About Author Millie Wierer's Stormy Was My Life in the Frankfurt Book Fair

IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 4, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Life, despite its tragic misfortunes, is a gift that should be cherished. For the family of author Millie Wierer, her life will forever be remembered and treasured; and today, the world is welcome to witness her journey of trials and experiences in Stormy Was My Life, an autobiographical book released through Xlibris.

Written as a Christmas gift to her grandson, Wierer's memoirs are filled with fascinating and frequently tragic tales of her life. Growing up in a time of great political change and war, her personal life was often influenced by the drastic changes that surrounded her and her family. Millie Wierer was born in 1909, a year that allowed her to witness the fall of empires and the rise of new political governments. However, during those years, the changes did not allow their family to remain as observer -- they became positive survivors as well.

This autobiography is not only a story of one woman's life. It is also the story of people and of nations that struggled to cope with and start a new beginning after a worldwide shift in rule and governance. Stormy Was My Life is the author's gift to her family and to the world, shedding light on a dark past that clouded the lives of millions and reminding everyone that history should be treasured for a better future.

This book will be featured in the Frankfurt Book Fair (International Book Exhibit) in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 14-18, 2009. For more information, log on to www.Xlibris.com.
