Today, the 636-bed, not-for-profit hospital is home to the only trauma center in the region. Renowned for programs in cancer care, neurosciences and cardiovascular services, Huntington is also an active teaching hospital with a residency program with tracks in internal medicine and general surgery. In addition, the hospital has the only Regional neonatal intensive care unit in the area, treating infants with the highest acuity.

Consistent with its mission of excelling in the delivery of quality care, Huntington provides millions of dollars in charity care, benefits for vulnerable populations, health research, education and training.
