avVaa World Health Care Products Inc. Announces Marketing Focus for the First Part of 2010


VERNON, British Columbia, Dec. 18, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- avVaa World Health Care Products Inc. (Pink Sheets:AVVH), a global biotechnology company, manufacturer and distributor of nationally branded therapeutic, natural skin and health care products, announced that avVaa is gearing up for new media campaigns in 2010.

avVaa World Health Care Products Inc. announced today that internet marketing will be the focus of their Neuroskin Psoriasis Relief campaign during early 2010.

"Our fall/winter DRTV media tests were moderately successful," stated Lorie Campbell-Farley, President and Chief Operating Officer. "We had a great response rate for the audience we reached. However the cost of getting that audience was higher than we wanted. And when a DRTV campaign is over, the product is no longer accessible via TV, unless a customer happened to write our phone number down. On the internet, we can market Neuroskin to a much wider audience at a lower cost, and target the campaign very specifically to get the high value repeat customers that we want. Most importantly, the website is always available 24/7 to take orders and assist customers."

avVaa plans to launch a widespread internet campaign that focuses not only on Psoriasis sufferers, but opens the door to a wider range of customers with skin disorders. "Neuroskin isn't just for psoriasis sufferers," commented Mrs. Campbell-Farley. "Customers with eczema and dermatitis have had great results. Many people just have dry, itchy, flaky skin, but don't realize they have a 'skin condition'. We are going to market Neuroskin as a solution for these customers."

30% of customers who respond to TV commercials do so via the internet, so avVaa will hold off on DRTV marketing until the web campaign is running smoothly. "We can't afford to lose 1/3 of our business because our website doesn't convert," stated Mrs. Campbell-Farley. "That is what has been happening. We are going to change that, so that our next DRTV media runs bring us 30% more sales!"

avVaa is continuing to work on preparing the filings required by the British Columbia Securities Commission. avVaa CEO Jack Farley commented, "Our auditing company is doing a very good job preparing our financials. Due to some complexities in the audit, we have retained a second company to complete portions of it. We anticipate completing our filings early in the new year."
