Brocade and Nectar to Deliver Management Capabilities for Unified Communications Applications

Nectar Expands Capabilities With New Brocade Solutions

ORLANDO, FL--(Marketwire - March 23, 2010) -  VoiceCon, Nectar Booth #1322 - Nectar Services, a leading software firm specializing in IP communications and managed services, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Juma Technology (OTCBB: JUMT), today announced that it is working with Brocade® (NASDAQ: BRCD) to deliver visibility and management capabilities for unified communications (UC) applications deployed over Brocade IP networks.

The development of a Nectar-Brocade solution significantly enhances voice visibility and problem-resolution capabilities across the integrated network, providing customers and reseller partners with the tools they need to properly manage voice applications. By significantly enhancing voice visibility, both Nectar and Brocade are expanding the value delivered to their mutual channel reseller partners.

"We're huge proponents of converged voice, video, and data networks, but we also recognize the real management challenges that come along with an integrated architecture," said Joe Fuccillo, CTO for Nectar Services. "Nectar has expanded the capabilities of our Converged Management Platform to include Brocade networking solutions, adding a new layer of management and visibility for voice applications. Very simply, we're putting valuable analytics in the hands of customers so they know exactly what's going on within their converged network."

Edmond Baydian, Chief Services Officer for Nectar, said Brocade networking solutions enrich the Nectar platform and expands the solution's market reach. "With Brocade, we are continuing to strengthen our platform while addressing the need for visibility and management of unified communications applications."

"Offering best-of-breed integrated services such as Unified Communications over our high-performance IP networks is our key differentiator versus competitors that offer single source vendor solutions," said Barbara Spicek, vice president of worldwide channels at Brocade. "By working together, Brocade and Nectar are now able to leverage their respective technology expertise and will be able to expand Nectar's reach throughout the entire Brocade channel, and vice-versa."

"We are extremely excited about this new business opportunity with Brocade," said Anthony M. Servidio, Chief Executive Officer for Nectar parent-company Juma Technology. "Having a unified management solution that handles data infrastructure plus voice applications is an enormous value-add for Brocade and our ever-growing channel of Nectar reseller partners."
