DarKnight's 'Samurai Avenger' Premieres in France and Preps for Release in Germany and Australia

This April Samurai Avenger Will be Seen From Europe to Down Under


LOS ANGELES, March 25, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB:CMGR) ("Camelot") announced today that DarKnight Pictures' acquisition Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf will be release on DVD in Germany on April 9, 2010 by 8-Films and in Australia on April 17, 2010 by 21st Century Pictures. The film will also make its debut in France the first week of April, competing for best feature film at the Mauvais Genre Film Festival. The festival will take place April 2-5, 2010.

Samurai: Avenger: The Blind Wolf is a story of a blind man who seeks out revenge against the psychopath who blinded him and slaughtered both his wife and daughter. Eight years following the massacre, the man, now a highly trained samurai swordsman, returns to the town seeking revenge. However, he does not know that seven assassins hired by his sworn enemy want a bounty on his head.

It is a Mitsutake Production, directed by Kurando Mitsutake, written by John Migdal and Kurando Mitsutake, and produced by Kurando Mitsutake and Chiaki Yanagimoto. 

The cast includes Mitsutake, Jeffrey James Lippold, Domiziano Arcangeli (Bruno), and Amanda Plummer (Pulp Fiction, The Fischer King). 

Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf won the AUDIENCE AWARD at Another Hole in the Head Film Festival, BEST OF FEST at Indie Fest USA, and BEST FILM at Fantastic Planet Film Festival in Sydney, Australia.
