Tri-Tech Holding Inc. (TRIT) is a holding company that wholly owns Tri-Tech International Investment Inc. The Company develops and implements systems to assist Chinese government entities in monitoring and managing natural and municipal water supplies. It designs sewage treatment and odor control systems for municipal supplies. These systems, which coordinate technological solutions with hardware, allow its clients to monitor and control numerous variables in the sewage treatment and odor control processes.

In the report, the analyst notes:

"Total revenue was $16.8 million in 2009, an increase of $8.3 million, or 99%, compared to revenue of $8.4 million in 2008. The increase was driven by larger contracts, several of which exceeded $1.5 million. The revenue was primarily generated by system integration work and hardware and software sales from two operating segments. For wastewater and tail gas treatment, revenue was $9 million, an increase of $4 million or 80%, compared to $5 million in year 2008. Revenue from water resources management saw a significant 125% increase to $7.8 million from $3.5 million in 2008.

"TRIT announced recently that it has received a RMB25.4 million (approximately US$3.7 million) Build-Transfer (BT) contract for construction of a residential solid waste sanitary landfill for Xinle City, Hebei province. Tri-Tech will build the plant and transfer ownership to Xinle City. This landfill will be 100% funded by governmental investment. The contract covers landfill site construction engineering and design, underground water monitoring, leachate drainage system, landfill gas pipe system and site closure cover system."
