NightHawk Forms Customer Advisory Board

Radiology Leaders Add Valuable Thought Leadership to Company

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 21, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NightHawk Radiology Services (Nasdaq:NHWK), the leading provider of teleradiology solutions in the U.S., has formed a Customer Advisory Board comprised of industry leaders to provide valuable input and feedback while adding thought leadership to the company.

The Customer Advisory Board was created to ensure NightHawk's customers' needs are understood, continuously met and exceeded. These industry leaders provide a unique perspective on market direction and current trends as well as emerging challenges facing the industry. Feedback and recommendations for existing and new service offerings are also encouraged and recognized. The Customer Advisory Board held its inaugural meeting in Scottsdale, Ariz. the second week of April.

Members of the Customer Advisory Board include: Dr. Albert Cook, Ohio Imaging Associates; Dr. Tariq Gill, Millennium Medical Imaging; Dr. David Gorczyca, Radiology Specialists, Ltd.; Dr. Howard Kessler, Northeast Imaging Associates; Gregory M. Kusiak, Hill Medical Corporation; David Landry, Spectrum Medical Group; Dr. Chris Looney, Heartland Regional Medical Center; Dr. Russell McWey, Northern Virginia Radiology Consultants; Dr. Robert Pyatt, Chambersburg Imaging Associates; Dr. Stuart Sorkin, Medical Radiologists Inc. and Dr. David Weiss, Carilion Medical Center.

"I am honored to participate in the interchange of ideas between my peers and the leading teleradiology provider," said Dr. Bob Pyatt of Pennsylvania-based Chambersburg Imaging Associates. "The formation of the Customer Advisory Board demonstrates NightHawk's high-level of focus assisting in its customers' success. It also reaffirms NightHawk's commitment to improving patient care and supporting radiology groups."

"I commend NightHawk for establishing the Customer Advisory Board and for the collegial manner in which it has approached this endeavor," added Dr. Stuart Sorkin of Ohio-based Medical Radiologists Inc. "I believe the board can serve as a forum for members of the radiology community to express our needs and concerns regarding teleradiology and provide NightHawk important feedback as it seeks to grow and refine its service."

Dr. Russ McWey of Northern Virginia Radiology Consultants said the Customer Advisory Board represents "a unique opportunity for radiologists of all practice types to share knowledge and provide mutually-beneficial collaboration."

Most agree the creation of the advisory board is well-timed to meet the continually evolving needs of the industry. "We believe those groups that are able to create partnerships with other leading providers of radiology services will be in the best position to take a leadership role during these changing times," said David Landry from the Maine-based Spectrum Medical Group. "NightHawk has shown tremendous vision as the leading provider of teleradiology services."

In addition, serving on the Customer Advisory Board is an opportunity to shape the services that support radiology practices, noted Greg Kusiak of California-based Hill Medical Corporation. "The frank and open dialog between industry leaders and NightHawk's management team will help create a successful future for everyone involved," he said.

"Our customers are recognized industry thought leaders," said David Engert, NightHawk's president and CEO. "We're confident this advisory board will be a great asset to our organization and to our customers."
