IASA Presents 2010 President's Award

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - June 7, 2010) -  IASA is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2010 President's Award, which was presented today during the IASA Annual Educational Conference & Business Show in Dallas, Texas by IASA President Jim Keal of Accident Fund Group.

"The President's Award is the one award which allows me as IASA President to honor an individual who has not only played an important role in the association, but has also been very important to me personally and professionally," said Jim Keal. "This individual provided excellent counsel to me not only during this year but throughout my tenure as a volunteer for the IASA. I have contacted this person numerous times to get perspective on business, technical and IASA matters. I consider this individual not only a valuable industry contact, but more importantly, a valued friend."

Keal presented the IASA President's Award, given at the sole discretion of the current IASA President, to John J. Bauer of Prudential Financial and a former IASA President as well.

"Looking back at John's volunteer service to the IASA, there are many similarities to mine," said Keal. "He was president of the association, spent much of his volunteer career in the education program, and was a critical part of the group that helped define the theme for this year."
