"Evansville's Most Convenient Bank" Opens Innovative Northfield Location

EVANSVILLE, Ind., June 14, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Integra Bank (Nasdaq:IBNK) has announced plans to unveil its "open space" design on June 14, 2010, at its new full-service banking center located on North Highway 41 at Boonville-New Harmony Road. This innovative branch will feature a full-view open floorplan like no other bank office in Evansville. The glass walls encompass nearly one-half of the building, including a full glass drive-up facility. Integra has also enhanced the walk-in experience with a unique, continuous customer-friendly service counter, digital merchandising, and a kids activity center.

"With glass from floor to ceiling, this unique office is much more open than the traditional bank branch," stated Greg Pence, EVP and Director of Marketing. "We wanted to break down the 'stuffiness' of the typical financial institution office. We have already done that with our convenient products and our 'I Care' customer service approach, so why not accomplish that aspect with our facility."

Pence added that this unique floorplan has a great visual appeal, but also allows the bank personnel to operate more efficiently. "The customer service counter has been designed so that our staff can fulfill most customer service needs in one area without having the customer jump from desk to desk," commented Pence. "This makes the transaction more streamlined and faster for the customer, so they can get on with their day."

"Our retail strategy has really taken root in our hometown of Evansville," stated Roger Duncan, EVP, Retail Manager-Community Markets Manager, President of Evansville Region. "Over the past ten years, we have grown our deposits faster than any bank in the market. This is a direct result of our convenient locations, our user-friendly products and services, and our attention to providing the best customer service."

Mike Alley, Chairman and CEO of Integra Bank, commented on the reasons of opening this location when Integra has been selling selected branch offices. "As we complete the branch sales in many of our outlying markets, we have to continue to grow in our core footprint. Our new Northfield office allows us to offer our services on the growing northside of Evansville in a more competitive way."

The official ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 15 at 9:00 a.m. at the new Northfield office located at 12600 North U.S. 41 in Evansville.   Upon opening its new Northfield Banking Center in front of Buehler's Supermarket, Integra will close its limited service, in-store branch located inside Buehler's.

"Evansville's Most Convenient Bank" offers 55 places to bank in Evansville with 11 branches and 44 ATMs – more than any other bank or credit union. Integra's Northfield office will stay open until 6 p.m. during the week and 1 p.m. on Saturday.
