LAS VEGAS, Aug. 10, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MetaPower International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:MTPR) is pleased to announce that the Company's subsidiary, MetaPower Inc. has added two professionals to its staff.
Dan O'Reilly, CPA fills the position of Company Controller. Dan is a graduate of Oregon State University with degrees in Accounting and Business Administration. Prior to coming to MetaPower, he had three years of experience in audit and tax with a Portland Oregon regional CPA firm. Dan passed the CPA exam in 2009.
Dan's responsibilities include maintaining the books of MetaPower International, Inc., MetaPower, Inc and MetaPower Canada, Ltd.; developing reports as required to assist our tax firm in preparation of tax returns; maintaining records of stock transactions of MetaPower International, Inc; assisting in preparing reports and documents for the annual audit of the consolidated Companies; preparing quarterly consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP for publicly traded companies and wholly owned Canadian subsidiaries.
Carl C. Green, Ph.D. has joined MetaPower as a Principal Consultant with emphases on Organization Development. Dr. Green earned his Ph.D. in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington. His degrees also include M. Div. from Nazarene Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Missouri; B.A. Organizational Management, summa cum laude, Whitworth University, Spokane, Washington; B.A. Northwest Nazarene University, Nampa, Idaho.
Dr. Green brings over 30 years of experience in organizational study and group dynamics to MetaPower. It is his experience and expertise in culture as it relates to change in an organization that is of particular benefit to MetaPower as we prepare to launch our Noble Production offering later this year.
