NEW SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT PROCESS AND IT AT SECO TOOLS GROUP

Fredrik Carpenhall has been appointed as Senior Vice President Process
and IT and member of the Group Executive Management of Seco Tools Group
and will take up his new duties on 7 May 2011.

Fredrik Carpenhall is 44 and holds a masters's degree in engineering
from the Institute of Technology at Linköping University. Fredrik has
longstanding experience from a number of management positions in ABB
Group and has been active in both Sweden and Switzerland. He comes most
recently from a post as Business IT Manager for the Low Voltage Products
Division of ABB Sweden.
