(OTCQB:CURX) (Frankfurt:8CX), announced that Curaxis management will meet with governmental officials in the Canton of Ticino in Lugano, Switzerland to explore possible strategic opportunities.
Curaxis began trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the ticker "8CX" on February 7, 2011. Curaxis' had completed several clinical trials involving its lead Alzheimer's drug candidate Memryte for which the results were very encouraging. Curaxis now intends to commence a Phase IIb trial with 250 participants later this year. The Phase IIb trial will be a cost effective and less dilutive approach to confirming earlier Phase II results that were statistically significant.
