CDMA Development Group Announces Call for Nominations for 2011 CDG Industry Achievement Awards and Smart Wireless Awards

WHAT:

Nominations for the 2011 CDG Industry Achievement Awards, which honor individuals and companies in the CDMA industry, are now being accepted by the CDMA Development Group (CDG) at http://www.cdg.org/awards/. The CDG Industry Achievement Awards will be presented in the following categories:

  • Industry Leadership
  • Operator Leadership
  • Innovation in Mobile Consumer Products
  • Innovation in Network Technology
  • Innovation in Wireless Social and Economic Solutions Development
  • Innovation in Mobile Applications

The CDG will also present two Smart Wireless Awards at the conference, celebrating and promoting the most innovative wireless products and services using machine-to-machine (M2M) modules on CDMA networks. Nominations are being accepted in the following categories at http://www.cdg.org/smartawards/:

  • Smart Wireless Devices
  • Smart Wireless Services

There is no fee to submit nominations, no limit to the number of submissions allowed and the process is open to the public.

WHO:

The CDMA Development Group (CDG) is a global trade association formed to foster the advancement of CDMA and other complementary wireless solutions. Its members, including many of the world's leading service providers and equipment manufacturers, collaborate on standards evolution, education, advocacy, regulatory affairs, roaming and device availability.
