Aspire Announces Expansion of Its Mygos Ecommerce Platform Into Indonesia

TORONTO, Sept. 22, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aspire International Inc. (Pink Sheets:APIT), continuing to execute on its major expansion into Southeast Asia, today announced the initial development of its online shopping mall ecommerce platform for the Indonesia market, building on its recent, rapidly growing rollout in Taiwan.

This initiative is based on technology already developed by Hong-Kong based Mygos, www.mygos.net, and is being licensed to develop the Southeast Asia market.

The Republic of Indonesia is the world's fourth most populous country, with 245,000,000 people. Across its many islands, Indonesia consists of distinct ethnic, linguistic, and religious groups, which have developed a shared identity defined by a national language, ethnic diversity and religious pluralism within a majority Muslim population,

With an estimated 2011 GDP near $800 billion, Indonesia ranks among the world's top twenty economies, and is a G-20 member nation. Moreover, it is expected to have one of the fastest-growing economies in the world for the next several decades. The Indonesian archipelago contains abundant natural resources, including crude oil, natural gas, tin, copper, and gold.

Like the rest of Asia, Indonesia is also seeing the development of an extensive Internet infrastructure for its citizens.  Social media tools Facebook and Twitter are mainstream and smartphone usage is soaring.

Aspire CEO Bok Wong commented, "We are highly optimistic that our online shopping mall platform will flourish in Indonesia. A strong, consistently growing economy supporting entrepreneurship should deliver similarly strong results in our ecommerce segment, as already experienced in China. We expect great success for our online shopping mall in the Indonesian market for many years to come."
