Canyon Acres Names Gordon MacLean Chairman of the Board


ORANGE, Calif., Sept. 26, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Canyon Acres Children and Family Services, a Southern California charity organization committed to providing homes, care, treatment and supportive services for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children and their families, today announced Gordon MacLean as its new Board Chair. MacLean is a longtime friend of children and currently an Audit Partner at RJI Ramirez Jimenez International CPAs.

Before RJI, MacLean spent 20 years at KPMG LLP's Orange County office, serving seven of those years as an Audit Partner, and most recently as an Audit Partner for a large regional CPA firm.  In his 25+ year career, he has provided accounting and auditing services to companies ranging from start-ups to international, multi-billion-dollar corporations in manufacturing, technology, medical devices, real estate, distribution and professional services.

MacLean holds a degree in Business Administration and Accounting from California State University, Fullerton. In addition to his role at Canyon Acres, he is an Advisory Member of CSU Fullerton's Executive Council and a member and volunteer at Saddleback Church. In 2008, the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics honored MacLean as one of their "Alumni at the Top."
