Clavis Technologies Develops a HUB Server for E-mart's Mobile Shopping System

SEOUL, South Korea, Oct. 18, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Clavis Technologies International Co., Ltd. (OTCBB:CTLH), a leading provider of RFID-enabled solutions to various industrial markets, today announced that the Company has developed a HUB server system for E-Mart, the oldest and largest discount store chain in Korea, with total sales exceeding $9.4 billion in 2009.

Based on Clavis Technologies' HUB server system, the system will allow personal users to scan a product's barcode with their smartphone in an E-mart store. With this, customers can check the prices of online and offline shops. If there is no direct information about the specific product, the system shows other product information in the same or similar categories.

The HUB server system updates data every 3 hours automatically for online products and was developed to maximize customer convenience, monitor server resources and provide a real-time alarm service to a staff by e-mail and SMS when an abnormal phenomenon occurs. The system performs automatic repair of system errors, and can provide stable services without interruption.

Mr. Hwan Sup Lee, CEO of Clavis Technologies, stated, "This is a very exciting project for the company which will not only provide revenue with a positive margin but is a perfect example of the great value that our RFID-enabled technology systems hold in the retail space as well as several other industries that we service. E-Mart is a significant entity in this market and we are very confident that our HUB server will function very well and add tremendous value to their customer service operations." Additionally, he said, "This project will serve as a great basis to expand our services to other similar large and small retail service providers."
