MedQuist Holdings Continues to Enhance Senior Management Team With HR Veteran


FRANKLIN, Tenn., Oct. 27, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MedQuist Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq:MEDH), a leading provider of integrated clinical documentation solutions for the U.S. healthcare system, today announced William (Bill) J. Donovan joined MedQuist as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Mr. Donovan brings over 25 years of domestic and international human resources experience in overseeing corporate functions and managing global talent.

In his role as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for MedQuist Holdings, Mr. Donovan will oversee all aspects of global employee acquisition and talent management.

Most recently, Mr. Donovan was the Executive Director of Ronald McDonald Charities in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina. Prior to Ronald McDonald Charities, Mr. Donovan led the global human resources organization at Nortel Networks, Inc. and spearheaded several major improvement initiatives at the senior level. He was the Senior Vice President of Business Transformation from 2006 to 2009, when he led the company's efforts to increase overall business velocity by guiding cross-functional teams through various best practice strategies. During his roles as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources from 2000-2006, Mr. Donovan helped the company realize its strategic business goals and worked closely with the senior management team and Board of Directors. As part of the company's strategic business goals, he steered Nortel's overall global talent strategy in over 65 countries during an unprecedented growth and restructuring period in a difficult and consolidating industry. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from East Carolina University and his MBA from Campbell University.
