Lime Energy received awards for the Most Number of Acquired Electric Projects, Most Applications Submitted in One Month and Top Producer over 1.5 million kWh. "Lime Energy was a force when it came to the Most Number of Acquired Electric Projects," said David Pospisil, Program Director, Con Edison Commercial and Industrial C&I Energy Efficiency Program. "They've completed 112 lighting projects, saving over 3.5 million kilowatt hours with incentives totaling more than $360,000."

Lime Energy is the leading provider of energy efficiency to small businesses in New York State. In the last two years alone Lime has provided energy efficient equipment retrofits to more than 7,000 small businesses across New York in response to the State's Energy Efficiency Resource Standard, which requires a 15% reduction in energy usage statewide by 2015. These projects have delivered more than 150 million kilowatt-hours toward this goal, while saving small businesses more than $16 million annually in energy costs and creating more than 300 green jobs. "These particular awards specifically demonstrate Lime's unique capability to provide energy efficiency to small businesses which have traditionally been defined as hard-to-reach," said Alex Castro, Lime Energy's Vice President of Utility Business Development. "Lime Energy is developing, selling and implementing more than 500 projects per month with New York State small businesses."

"Lime Energy is committed to playing a leading role in New York State's laudable goal to reduce energy usage, and every day our employees – working together with our utility partners - are making real progress toward this goal," said Adam Procell, Group President for Energy Consulting and Technical Services at Lime Energy.
