Tommy Wagner Auctions Conducts Online Estate Auction Featuring Victorian Furniture, Antiques and Firearms


ROANOKE, Va., Jan. 20, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tommy Wagner Auctions [www.tommywagnerauctions.com] announces the online only auction of Victorian furniture and antiques with bidding ending Thursday, January 26, 2012, at 7pm eastern, according to Tommy Wagner, auctioneer.

"We have an excellent estate collection of very nice Victorian furniture as well as early, old and vintage antique items dating back to the early 1800's," said Wagner. "We have items from Virginia and North Carolina."

Wagner said the auction will feature gold, silver, sterling and ivory, as well as vintage jewelry, watches, clocks, lighting, China sets and old racks of keys.

"We've got a drip lamp, Radio Flyer, a working 1933 penny horoscope scale," Wagner noted. "We've even got a Rolex men's bracelet up for bid."

Firearms up for bid include: a Massachusetts Civil War musket - a Springfield conversion to trapdoor 50-70 caliber rifle from 1864; an Ohio early Damascus double-barrel 'gentleman's gun', a Thompson Omega 50 caliber, and a Smith & Wesson first model second issue 22 caliber from the 1860's.
