AUSTIN, Texas, March 28, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Click Security, founded by pioneers in the cyber security industry, today announced the appointment of James Hamilton to President. In this role, Hamilton will lead sales and business development and serve on Click Security's executive team.

Hamilton, a 25-year veteran of the networking and security industries, joins Click Security from CPSG Partners, a professional services and consulting company focused on security and enterprise applications, where he served as CEO. He has spent the past decade in security-related companies beginning with his role as President and COO, and then CEO of TippingPoint from 2003 to 2009 (acquired by 3Com in 2005, then by HP in 2010); followed by two years at SafeNet, Inc. as EVP of Corporate Development leading M&A and Strategic Alliances.

Mr. Hamilton also held executive positions with Picazo Communications (acquired by Intel in 1998); Compaq; Networth (acquired by Compaq in 1995); 3Com and Grid Systems. In addition, Mr. Hamilton sits on the boards of several industry-related companies, both public and private.
