Aurora, IL, April 11, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cabot Microelectronics Corporation (Nasdaq:  CCMP), the world's leading supplier of chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) polishing slurries and a growing CMP pad supplier to the semiconductor industry, announced today that it was named as one of 19 companies receiving Intel Corporation's Preferred Quality Supplier (PQS) award for its performance in 2011.  Cabot Microelectronics Corporation is recognized for its significant contributions in providing Intel with CMP slurries, deemed essential to Intel's success.
