First Annual "La Fiesta!" Sponsored by International Child Foundation


TUCSON, Ariz., May 9, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- International Child Foundation, one of only three U.S. adoption agencies approved to provide services in Mexico, is sponsoring the first annual "La Fiesta" celebration Saturday May 12th to support Refugios de Dios para Ninos in Nogales. The Refugios child center cares for children who have been abused or exploited and is a model shelter for victims of abuse.  Refugios was founded in 2005 by Dr. Irel Urreiztieta, who also founded God's Havens for Children in California, and Ricardo Gallego, a family attorney from Mexico.

"La Fiesta" for Refugios includes dinner, music and a Silent Auction and is being held in Tucson at Paniolo Guest Ranch from 6-10pm.  Items for auction include weekend resort stays, art, jewelry, a wide variety of services and gift baskets.  Information and tickets are available through International Child Foundation website, www.childfound.org or by calling the agency at 520 531-9931.
