Changes Follow Regular Periodic Reviews of Dow Jones Titans Indexes, Become Effective After Close of Trading on June 15, 2012


NEW YORK, May 31, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BASF SE (Germany), Berkshire Hathaway Inc. Cl B (United States) and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (Australia) will be among five stocks added to the Dow Jones Global Titans 50 Index, following a regular annual review, Dow Jones Indexes announced today.

The additional two companies to be added are McDonald's Corp. (United States) and Qualcomm Inc. (United States). Companies exiting are Allianz SE (Germany), BNP Paribas S.A. (France), E.ON AG (Germany), Hewlett-Packard Co. (United States) and Petroleo Brasileiro S/A Pref (Brazil). The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted index increased to US$6.58 trillion from US$6.36 trillion. Regional allocation of the Dow Jones Global Titans 50 Index, based on country of origin of the component stock: Americas before review 68.23%, after review 68.59%; Europe before review 25.60%, after review 24.28%; and Asia/Pacific before review 6.17%, after review 7.13%. The Dow Jones Global Titans 50 Index is a 50-stock index that reflects the market performance of the world's leading multinational companies.

Dow Jones BRIC 50 DR Index: Surgutneftegaz JSC ADS (Russia) will be replaced by Sberbank Rossia ADS (Russia). The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted index decreased to US$856.99 billion from US$863.72 billion. The Dow Jones BRIC 50 DR Index measures the performance of 50 of the largest and most liquid stocks in the Brazil, Russia, India and China (China Offshore) region with offshore listings.

Dow Jones GCC Titans 40 Index: Bahrain Telecommunications Co. (Bahrain), Gulf Finance House B.S.C. (Bahrain) and National Investments Co. K.S.C.C. (Kuwait) will be replaced by Mabanee Co. S.A.K.C. (Kuwait), Qatar International Islamic Bank Q.S.C. (Qatar) and Qatar Navigation Q.S.C. (Qatar). The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted index increased to US$62.43 billion from US$61.27 billion. The Dow Jones GCC Titans 40 Index measures the performance of the 40 leading stocks traded in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

Dow Jones Africa Titans 50 Index: Anglo American Platinum Ltd. (South Africa), Eastern Platinum Ltd. (Canada), Ezz Steel Co. S.A.E. (Egypt), Golden Star Resources Ltd. (Canada) and Harmony Gold Mining Co. Ltd. (South Africa) will be replaced by Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding S.A.E. (Egypt), Shoprite Holdings Ltd. (South Africa), Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Ltd. (South Africa), Perseus Mining Ltd. (Australia) and Resolute Mining Ltd. (Australia). The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted Index increased to US$261.55 billion from US$254.59 billion. The Dow Jones Africa Titans 50 Index is a pan-African index that measures the stock performance of leading companies in the region. The Dow Jones Sector Titans Indexes measures the stock performance of the largest 30 companies in each of the 19 Supersectors defined by the proprietary classification system used by Dow Jones Indexes. Stocks are selected to the index based on rankings by float-adjusted market capitalization, revenue and net income.

Dow Jones Insurance Titans 30 Index: MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings Inc. (Japan) and Aegon N.V. (Netherlands) will be replaced by AIA Group Ltd. (Hong Kong) and American International Group Inc. (United States). The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted index increased to US$646.53 billion from US$620.68 billion.

Dow Jones Telecommunications Titans 30 Index: Portugal Telecom SGPS S/A (Portugal) will be replaced by Telefonica Brasil S.A. Pref (Brazil). The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted index decreased to US$958.59 billion from US$959.19 billion.

Dow Jones Utilities Titans 30 Index: Veolia Environnement S.A. (France) and Tokyo Electric Power Co. Inc. (Japan) will be replaced by International Power PLC (United Kingdom) and PPL Corp. (United States). The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted index increased to US$596.46 billion from US$577.09 billion.

GDR (Russia) will be replaced by CP ALL PCL (Thailand) and China Resources Enterprise Ltd. (China). Dow Jones Emerging Markets Basic Materials Titans 30 Index: Steel Authority of India Ltd. (India) will be replaced by Industrias Penoles S.A.B. de C.V. (Mexico). The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted index decreased to US$176.42 billion from US$180.66 billion.

Dow Jones Emerging Markets Consumer Goods Titans 30 Index: Gafisa S/A ADS (Brazil) and United Spirits Ltd. (India) will be replaced by Arca Continental S.A.B. de C.V. (Mexico) and China Mengniu Dairy Co. Ltd. (China). The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted index decreased to US$154.39 billion from US$157.45 billion.

Dow Jones Emerging Markets Consumer Services Titans 30 Index: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (India) will be replaced by Foschini Group Ltd. (South Africa). The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted index increased to US$151.88 billion from US$149.59 billion.

Dow Jones Emerging Markets Financials Titans 30 Index: Bank Polska Kasa Opieki S.A. (Poland) will be replaced by China CITIC Bank Corp. Ltd. (China). The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted index increased to US$411.76 billion from US$403.36 billion.

Dow Jones Emerging Markets Industrials Titans 30 Index: BYD Co. Ltd. (China), China COSCO Holdings Co. Ltd. (China), Jaiprakash Associates Ltd. (India) and MISC Bhd (Malaysia) will be replaced by Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa (Indonesia), Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. (Philippines), Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Development Co. Ltd. (China) and Alfa S.A.B. de C.V. Series A (Mexico).The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted index decreased to US$96.59 billion from US$108.27 billion.

Dow Jones Emerging Markets Technology Titans 30 Index: 3I Infotech Ltd. (India), GTL Ltd. (India) and Sterling International Enterprises Ltd. (India) will be replaced by Hexaware Technologies Ltd. (India), Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Ltd. (China) and Tower Bersama Infrastructure (Indonesia). The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted index increased to US$77.64 billion from US$76.76 billion.

Dow Jones Emerging Markets Telecommunications Titans 30 Index: Magyar Telekom Telecommunications PLC (Hungary) will be replaced by Rostelecom ADS (Russia). The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted index increased to US$229.67 billion from US$228.60 billion.

Dow Jones Emerging Markets Utilities Titans 30 Index: Compania General de Electricidad S.A. (Chile) will be replaced by Guangdong Investment Ltd. (China). The total free-float market capitalization of the reconstituted index increased to US$87.43 billion from US$86.91 billion.
