Millionaire Matchmaker Star Chelsea Autumn in Chicago to Support A Safe Haven Foundation

Celebrity Matchmaker to Host Event at the Roof on theWit Wednesday June 20th, 2012

CHICAGO, June 20, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bravo's Millionaire Matchmaker star Chelsea Autumn returns to her native state Illinois tonight to support Chicago's A Safe Haven Foundation. Chelsea will be hosting charity social mingler, Perfectly Matched, taking place at the Roof on theWit from 6-8PM tonight. The event also celebrates eight Chicago thought leaders that help match individuals up with their goals and dreams.

With all proceeds benefitting A Safe Haven Foundation, Chelsea opens up her dating pool admission to event ticket holders to help Chicago singles find their perfect relationship match in life. A Safe Haven is a social business enterprise that helps the homeless transform their lives through housing, job training and ultimately a career.

"I am honored to support A Safe Haven Foundation. Their model to help match people with new lives and dreams is something that is unique and touches my heart. I have the pleasure of matching people with true love in relationships, but it all starts with the individual. A Safe Haven changes lives, and I want to help here in Chicago and in Los Angeles," commented Chelsea Autumn.

Tickets to tonight's event are $20. The event features complimentary cocktails provided by Tequila Avion, which first made its mark on HBO's hit series Entourage. The new glass enclosed Roof on theWit has been catching attention across the nation as one of the top social settings and nightclubs in the country. With the event limited to only 200 attendees, guests are coming in from across Chicago to give back to a worthy cause.

"We are touched by the support we have received from all corners of the market. Gearing up for the Run to End Homelessness on July 15th has been a huge priority of ours. We are humbled by Chelsea's support as well as some of the top thought leaders and socialites in Chicago," commented event organizer and A Safe Haven Foundation's Associate Board President Chris Foltz.

Foltz is the founder and chairman of Christopher Foltz & Company, a charity-minded Chicago communication strategy firm, and serves as Autumn's publicist. "We wanted to prove that you can do an event for charity, raise money, have a great time and still give all of the proceeds to a non-profit. We are touched to receive support from all of the attendees and sponsors."

The eight celebrated thought leaders in attendance include: A Safe Haven Founder and Chicagoan of the Year Neli Vazquez-Rowland, Wellness Author and Healthy Initiative Founder Shea Vaughn, Miss Illinois USA's Humanitarian Award Winner Jennifer Christenson, Reinvention Expert Lisa Lockwood, House Music Pioneer Vince Lawrence, Celebrity Love Lawyer Corri Fetman, Latino Fashion Week Founder Cesar Rolon, and Chicago Model's Founder Marco Foster.

In addition to the social meet and greet, NBC Chicago Nonstop's Whitney Reynolds and the Weekends with Whitney crew will film live from the event and follow one lucky lady on her quest to find true love.

Although $20 tickets will be available at the door, attendees are encouraged to get tickets ahead of time so they can register for the Queen of Hearts Matchmaking Pool here in Chicago.
