(Nasdaq:PSSI) announced today that it has received the Pro Patria Award from the Florida Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (FLESGR) at the Florida ESGR Awards Ceremony June 2012 in Orlando for the Company's support of employees serving in National Guard and Reserve programs. The award is presented annually by ESGR to the one employer in each state who has provided the most exceptional support of national defense through leadership practices and personnel policies that support their employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve.
PSS was nominated by Tad Strong, Senior Director of Global Operations at PSS, who recently served a 12 month deployment. "PSS really went above and beyond in supporting me in this interim role and reassuring me of my position upon my return," he said. "But they went even further by reaching out to my family to offer support and encouragement, and that gave me a great sense of comfort in my absence," Strong added.
