CMARK Overhauls Contingency and Disaster Relief Efforts

COLUMBIA, S.C., Aug. 28, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CMARK International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:CMIT) a global provider of facility and logistic support services for government and commercial institutions has significantly overhauled its contingency and disaster relief efforts.

The company and its affiliates currently have two fully equipped mobile kitchens located in Columbia, SC, immediately ready for deployment for contingency feeding operations. These 40 and 44 foot units were recently overhauled and contain high performance food preparation, cooking, and refrigeration capabilities.

This company managed contingency feeding programs and provided in excess of 500,000 meals on three contracts during hurricanes Katrina and Rita over a four month span in New Orleans, LA, and Gulfport, MS. The company currently has affiliate joint ventures with Latitudes Catering out of Tucson, AZ, and Naman's Catering out of Mobile, AL that allow significant catering resource support including management, manpower, food, and equipment.

"We understand the urgency of a crisis situation and thus provide a full range of services, from setting up huge dining facilities, to providing and cooking food and complete on-site management," said Charles W. Jones, President and CEO of CMARK. "CMARK is ready to mobilize and react from anywhere between 12 to 96 hours depending on the location, scope of work, and site environment. During Hurricane Katrina we served over 1,000 hot meals to power workers in Gulfport, MS, with only 8 hours' notice on a weekend."

He further added, "The facilities we own are a vital part of why we can respond.   The current partners we have and the subcontractors that we have used in the past are seasoned catering and disaster management companies and together with our core staff are skilled and experienced in the management of food supply operations, facility construction, design, and support, as well as food safety standards."

CMARK International, Inc. is a licensed architectural firm with a history since June of 2000, of providing products and services for construction and design projects for U.S. Government and private facilities worldwide.

CMARK's overall business strategy continues to include providing a diverse but cohesive product offering of facility design and support products, and logistical products and services to The U.S. Federal Government, prime contractors working for the federal government, and now a more substantial growth effort into the private sector.
