Canada's Ambassador to Angola Offers Government Support for Quest Water's Solar-powered AQUAtap (TM) Community Drinking Water Stations

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 15, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Quest Water Global, Inc. (OTCBB:QWTR) ("Quest" and or "Quest Water" and or "Company"), an innovative water technology company, and developer of the AQUAtap™ Community Drinking Water Station and WEPS™ Water Extraction and Purification System, announced today that the Government of Canada has offered its support to Quest Water as it works with the Ministry of Industry in Angola to deliver clean, potable water to rural communities in that country.

In a letter issued this week to the Honorable Kiala Ngone Gabriel, Secretary of State for Industry in Angola, Her Excellency Lisa Stadelbauer, Canada's Ambassador to Angola, states "The Government of Canada is in support of (Quest Water) and its efforts to assist in bringing potable water to all Angolans. We hope that the Ministry of Industry will move quickly to execute an agreement with Quest Water Solutions, so that the goals of the Water for All program can be realized very soon."

"We have been working closely with Angolan officials to finalize an agreement with the government and to lay out Quest Water's business operations in Angola," said John Balanko, Quest Water Global CEO & President. "We believe receiving this public support for the AQUAtap™ from the Canadian Government will help further instill confidence within the Angolan government in Quest Water and our ability to deliver our technology, and most importantly to assist those rural communities in desperate need of clean drinking water."

Ambassador Stadelbauer further states, "Quest Water is ready not only to provide these units (the solar-powered AQUAtap™ Community Drinking Water Stations), but also to establish an assembly plant in Angola to build the units, thereby providing both the water purification systems and much-needed jobs for Angolans in rural communities."

The Ambassador has requested a meeting at the earliest opportunity with Secretary of State Gabriel and the newly appointed Minister of Industry, Bernarda Gonçalves Martins Henriques da Silva, to discuss the Water for All program and how Canadian expertise, as provided by Quest Water Solutions, can assist Angola in meeting the goals of the program.

About Angola's "Water for All" Program

The "Water for All" program ("Agua para Todos") is a $650 million initiative of Angolan President Jose Eduardo dos Santos. The program is managed by five Ministries: Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development, Ministry of Environment, with the entire program coordinated by the Ministry of Energy & Water. Under the program, Angola has committed to providing clean water to 80% of its rural population and 50% of urban dwellers by 2015, with targets raised to 100% and 80%, respectively, by 2020. Current total population of Angola is approximately 19 million with 56.7% of the population being urban and 43.3% rural.

About AQUAtap™

Utilizing patented, solar-powered, water purification technology, Quest Water has developed a highly efficient, self-contained, community-operated water distribution system, designed to provide a sustainable solution to communities who lack the resources and infrastructure to access a clean, reliable water source. Quest Water's compact, transportable water purifier, the AQUAtap, is a powerful water filtration system that can take a typically unsafe water source, like polluted wells, rivers, lakes, and boreholes, as well as saline, and brackish sources, and create 100% purified, natural drinking water for entire communities, with an average output of over 20,000 liters a day. The AQUAtap technology is also beneficial to the environment, using no harmful chemicals throughout the entire process as well as producing zero carbon emissions. The AQUAtap was designed exclusively at the request of the Angolan government, with ease of transport, installation, and operation in mind.
