Jamie Geller, who is a cookbook author as well as the founder of Joy of Kosher with Jamie Geller magazine and website, will act as head judge.

"We are delighted to be moving on to the next stage of the competition," says Paul Bensabat, Co-CEO of The Manischewitz Company. "We are excited to welcome the finalists to our headquarters," adds Alain Bankier, Co-CEO of The Manischewitz Company.

"Maytag designs its kitchen appliances with the family in mind," says Monica Teague, Senior Manager of Brand Experience. "We are looking forward to seeing the great family recipes that the finalists will be preparing at the Cook-Off and are excited to experience the contemporary flair that they will be adding to traditional family meals."

Contestants were asked to submit a family friendly recipe that can be created in less than one hour, using one of the Manischewitz All-Natural Broths. This competition encourages at home chefs to experiment with Kosher and Manischewitz products and to think about using these kosher items in all types of cuisine all while making delicious, healthy dishes that could become a family favorite.
