Recently, Chronic Tacos announced it will be holding a grand opening for its newest location at Palms Casino Resort, located at 4321 West Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV on Friday, May 31 inside The Eatery.
The new taco shop will be donating 20 percent of grand opening-day sales to Street Teens, a local non-profit organization dedicated to assisting homeless, abandoned and at-risk teens in the Las Vegas Valley by providing basic necessities in a safe, compassionate environment. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. with attendees including MTV celebrity Wee Man, the Chamber of Commerce, and a representative from Street Teens.
Chronic Tacos was founded in 2001 by Randy Wyner and Dan Biello. The pair had an idea that fast, fresh, made to order Mexican food could be served up with authentic recipes in a fun and friendly atmosphere. They envisioned great Mexican food with California style. By 2004, Chronic Tacos became a local sensation and the owners found that customers were flocking not only from Newport Beach, where the first location opened, but from nearby cities as well. It was at this point they realized it was time to expand.
In 2006, Chronic Tacos became Chronic Tacos Enterprises and began franchising. The first franchise location opened in San Clemente, CA and attracted more than 1,000 hungry and excited locals.
