Infogroup Nonprofit Solutions to Take Part in the 8th Annual Bridge to Integrated Marketing & Fundraising Conference


OMAHA, Neb., July 30, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Infogroup Nonprofit Solutions (INS) announced today that Larry May, senior vice president of Strategic Development, will be taking part in the Bridge Conference in National Harbor, MD, July 31-August 2, 2013.

The Bridge Conference brings together the combined resources of two major organizations: The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Washington, DC Metro Area Chapter (AFP DC) and the Direct Marketing Association of Washington (DMAW). The AFP represents more than 30,000 members in 233 chapters throughout the world, which work to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs. The DMAW is the largest regional direct marketing association in the US. The purpose of this association is to promote the exchange of information among its members; to encourage and support the highest ethical business standards; to promote use and understanding of direct marketing; and to encourage and support the teaching and study of direct marketing in an academic environment, as well as through the association itself.

Larry May, senior vice president of strategic development will be participating in the panel entitled: "Standing on the Shoulders of Giants – Lessons from the experts" as part of the Big Data, Big ROI track. This panel will address a series of interactive questions regarding the changes in direct response over the past 30 years. Specifically, it will focus on a review of all the nonprofit brands that have peaked, plateaued and declined during this time frame with observations on what brands had in common or did differently. The session will discuss the lessons learned from these brands.  It will take place on Thursday, August 1st between 2:15pm-3:30pm EDT.
