David C. Smith provides expert testimony in finance matters, including corporate valuation, bankruptcy, restructuring, and governance; distressed debt trading; securities valuation; bank lending relationships; private equity; and the financing and investment performance of pension, real estate, and hedge funds. He is the director of the McIntire Center for Financial Innovation and a professor at the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. Professor Smith worked as an economist in the International Finance Division of the Federal Reserve Board. He has won several awards for his teaching and has published his research in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of Econometrics, and the Review of Financial Studies.

Victor Stango serves as an expert witness in matters involving consumers' experiences, usage, and understanding of various financial products, including consumer finance class actions related to disclosures and customer agreements/contracts. He is an associate professor in the Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Davis. His current research focuses on consumer financial decision making over both short- and long-term time horizons. Professor Stango has also examined consumer financial products such as credit cards, demand deposit accounts, ATMs, and payday loans. His other current work examines how information technology outsourcing affects firms and consumers in the financial services industry. He was formerly a senior economist at the Federal Reserve Banks of Chicago and New York. Professor Stango is an associate editor of the International Journal of Industrial Organization and has earned recognition for outstanding teaching. His writing has appeared in major news outlets, and his research has been published in leading academic journals, including the American Economic Review, the Journal of Finance, and the Review of Financial Studies.
